In an increasingly complex world where even intelligence is being programmed, it is easy to forget that it is still people with passion that make the difference. Those passionate people do, however, need the best technological tools available to increase their productivity. They do need technology to remove the redundancies and outdated practices that are still too often present in our daily business processes. They need it so they can spend more time unleashing their inner creativity to add value to the service they provide their customers, their coworkers and themselves.
Everybody agrees that technology is a necessary part of our lives today — but how many of us have invested in technology that turned out to be difficult to use or the cost savings promised were never realized? How many of us when we need assistance in successfully using technology are met with those dreaded words, “Thank you for calling XYC. Please listen carefully because the options offered have recently been changed.”
This conference is dedicated to technologies that work and have real-world proof of how and why they do. We will look at dashboard reporting, customer service breakthroughs, increased insourcing made possible by technology, GPS and inspection technologies and much, much more. We will also feature the newest addition to the FASTER product family, our web-based FASTER 3G, a product that is so intuitive and well designed that our customers will join the CCG chorus of “Wow.”
Our first keynoter has literally changed our world through the work he has done first in Pittsburgh and now in many cities throughout our county. Author of Make the Impossible Possible, Bill Strickland, winner of the MacArthur Foundation’s genius grant, grew up poor and was ready to drop out of school until one teacher made a difference for him. He has now made a difference for thousands of others and you will find out how. We guarantee you will be inspired and will gain ideas of how you can replicate some of what he does within your own operations.
Our other keynoters include Frank Morgan (Assistant City Manager of the City of Fremont, California), Joe Healey, CEO of CCG Systems, and Randy Owen (Senior Vice President of Mercury Associates). Frank’s innovative work in California at both Contra Costa County and the City of Long Beach combines technology with fierce resolve to make a difference. Joe, once designated the best presenter in the Country shares the platform with Pam Nelson, CCG’s Chairman of the Board to share their mutual vision for the future of the industry and CCG’s role within it. Randy has not only been a successful fleet manager but now works with organizations around the world to assist them in reaching higher levels of performance.
We have 24 breakout sessions planned and have worked diligently to offer not only what works but to challenge us all to combine technology with the hearts and souls of our people who are the real “front line” in difficult times.
We are returning to the beautiful Virginia Beach waterfront and we have incredible evening events planned where we can all connect and learn. We always promise the best conference yet and this year is no different. Join us “at the beach” to learn, grow and network. You’ll come away refreshed and renewed, ready to tackle all those challenges that await us in a new way.
